Nostradamus and the Comet SW3 – Part III

In previous blogs, I described two examples where Nostradamus indirectly referenced the Comet 73(P) Schwassmann-Wachmann; first in quatrain 2-15 and then in 10-50. In 2-15 he describes its movement across the heavens and in 10-50 he describes the “three” being found with Saturn in the urn by an observatory. How does “three” pertain to the comet, you’re probably asking? 73(P) Schwassmann-Wachmann is also known as Schwassmann-Wachmann 3.

Upon the realization that Nostradamus was using stars, planets, the constellations, and other heavenly body references as clues to SW3’s whereabouts and future, I began searching his quatrains for anything that could lead me to find additional affirmations, even if the references were on the fringe and subject to the interpretation of the reader.

Before I go any further, I want to acknowledge that the meaning of Nostradamus’ quatrains, taken by themselves, are very subjective and could mean anything. Further, based on the printing techniques of the time, some believe that some of his quatrains may have even been changed (either purposefully or by accident) by the typesetter giving a different meaning to the lines. A misplaced or deleted comma or semicolon for example could potentially change his intended meaning. That said, my interpretation is contingent upon using SW3 as a reference point while acknowledging the possibility of unintended typesetting/translation mistakes.

When I discovered what I thought was a Schwassmann-Wachmann reference in 2-15, I was determined to verify whether Nostradamus could have also identified SW3 in 10-50 which was next on my list. So began my research into the comet. I gleamed all I could from the internet and finally landed on a press release describing how astronomers Hermann Boehnhardt and Hans Ulrich Kaeufl sighted SW3 on January 31st, 1996. Centering on SW3 in the Starry Night program and moving to that January date, I found it in the Aquarius “urn” with Saturn just like Nostradamus had written. You can imagine my excitement upon discovering SW3 now corresponded to another quatrain.

 Quatrain 1-69

When Arnold Schwassmann and Arno Arthur Wachmann discovered the comet in 1930 it was originally estimated to be 1100 meters in diameter before braking up. To give you a sense of its magnitude, SW3’s diameter would have been equal to 11 football fields across. Its diameter is significant as it’s indirectly referenced in another Nostradamus quatrain, 1-69. Again, bear in mind I’m using SW3 as a reference point allowing an otherwise random quatrain to have specific meaning.

 1-69

The great mountain, seven stadia round, after peace, war, famine, flooding. It will spread far, drowning great countries,  even antiquities and their mighty foundations.

A stadion is an ancient Greek unit of measurement, specifically length, which has been equated to between 157 and 207 meters, depending on which source you choose to believe. It’s difficult to say which length Nostradamus used during the quatrain’s formation. In any event, a “great mountain” that’s seven stadia in diameter could be 1103.9 meters. For me, the similarity of SW3’s size and the quatrain seemed to be more than coincidental.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Nostradamus wrote, seven stadia round. Assuming this translation was correct, most would assume he meant the comet was seven stadia in circumference. Here’s where I take a little liberty with what I had referenced earlier. My supposition is that it’s plausible that he paused in his description of the great mountain, meaning it was seven stadia and round, and not necessarily seven stadia round. There are no firsthand accounts of someone watching as Nostradamus penned his thoughts. So we really don’t know if he penned them or dictated them while in a trance. Taken with the context of line three, which further describes the comet’s current condition as being strung out (which is factual) this seems to add validity.

It will spread far….because SW3 has broken up into over 66 pieces, as it hits the planet, its strike points would spread out across the globe because of the Earth’s rotation much like that of the Shoemaker-Levy Jupiter impact in 1994.

As for “drowning great countries, even antiquities and their mighty foundations.” I interpreted this to mean Europe and Christianity. My next blog will point to other quatrains adding further proof to my postulations.

Nostradamus and the Comet SW3 – Part II

This is the second release of information (with video proof) outlining the connection between a Nostradamus quatrain and the known comet, 73(P) Schwassmann-Wachmann a.k.a. SW3.

Here we’ll focus on the second line of Quatrain 2-15:

Shortly before the monarch is assassinated,

Castor and Pollux in the ship, bearded star:

The public treasure emptied by land and sea,

Pisa, Asti, Ferrara, Turin land under interdict.

In line two, I believe Nostradamus is referencing Castor and Pollux, two stars that help make up the constellation Gemini.  The “ship” is the constellation Argo Navis (the ship named after Jason and the Argonauts).  This constellation was broken into 4 different constellations by Nicolas Louis de Lacaille in 1752 and now includes Carina (the keel of the ship), Puppis (the poop), Vela (the sails) and, Pyxis the compass.  The bearded star is certainly a reference to a comet.

On January 12, 2021, SW3 passes over Castor and then over Pollux on June 11, 2021.  From there it heads directly to the “ship” Argo Navis (and also for a really close pass with Earth), for arrival in July of 2022.  Because SW3 is broken into many fragments, I believe some will impact the Earth in May and June of 2022 while other pieces will travel on.

The video that follows speaks directly to the second line of the Quatrain.  Watch for more information to be released in the coming weeks regarding additional connections to more quatrains.

Nostradamus and the Comet SW3

I’ve recently written in my book, “The Manifest” about the correlation between the writings of Nostradamus and the known comet, 73p/Schwassmann-Wachmann a.k.a. SW3.  As I’ve stated before, I believe SW3 has the potential to strike the planet in 2022.  Let me briefly walk you through two Quatrains.

First, a little history.  In mid-2007 I experienced something that I have trouble explaining.  While watching a Nostradamus documentary I had a moment of exceedingly strong inspiration.  Knowing that his quatrains were written in a cryptic fashion, I began to look for a pattern and found something fascinating.  In his quatrains, he describes the placement of the planets, the moon, and the comet in relation to the zodiac and other celestial bodies.  He used astronomy and astrology references to indicate where and when this comet could be found in the sky!  As I panned his works, what I found was akin to striking gold.  I found two huge nuggets that led me to the rest of the find.

Between 1555 and 1558, he released Les Propheties which includes many of the famous quatrains we know today.

In quatrain 2-15 he writes:

“Shortly before the monarch is assassinated,

Castor and Pollux in the ship, bearded star:

The public treasure emptied by land and sea,

Pisa, Asti, Ferrara, Turin land under interdict.”[1]

Jumping to line two, I believe Nostradamus is referencing Castor and Pollux, two stars that help make up the constellation Gemini.  The “ship” is the constellation Argo Navis (the ship named after Jason and the Argonauts).  This constellation was broken into 4 different constellations by Nicolas Louis de Lacaille[2] in 1752 and now includes Carina (the keel of the ship), Puppis (the poop), Vela (the sails) and, Pyxis the compass.  The bearded star is certainly a reference to a comet.

Here were two stars that gave me a starting point.  I opened the Starry Night software, centered on these two stars, and scanned back and forth in time until…WOW!  There it was!  SW3 was staring me in the face.

In the first line, Nostradamus foretells of the assassination of a monarch.  But which monarch?  If my assumption regarding the January 2021 date holds true, it will be sometime shortly before this and only time will tell.

In the last two lines, I believe he’s referencing the evacuation of Rome where one would currently find the “public treasure” of Christianity.  He references this again in other quatrains.  As for Pisa, Asti, Ferrara and Turin, these Italian cities may be in the path of destruction.

In quatrain 10-50 he writes:

“The Meuse by day in the land of Luxembourg,

It will find Saturn and three in the urn:

Mountain and plain, town, city and borough,

Flood in Lorraine, betrayed by the great urn.”[3]

In the first line, I believe “The Meuse” Nostradamus is referring to is an observatory.  My research led me to find the Observatoire des Cote de Meuse, an observatory located in Verdun.  The central European maps of 1477 and 1547 show the observatory would still be in Luxembourg had the national boundaries not changed.  For me, this confirmed that Nostradamus is giving us a clue that an observatory would find or “observe” Saturn and SW3 “in the urn”.  But, which observatory?  And when?

Then, I find another nugget!  In January of 1996, “Hermann Boehnhardt (Universitaets-Sternwarte Muenchen – USM, Germany), and Hans Ulrich Kaeufl (ESO-Garching), using the ESO 3.5-metre New Technology Telescope at the La Silla Observatory (Chile) in remote observing mode from the ESO Headquarters in Garching (Germany)”[4] observe Schwassmann-Wachmann 3.  Where?  In the Urn of the Aquarius constellation (the only Urn in the sky) along with Saturn! Coincidentally, the Universitaets-Sternwarte Muenchen (USM) a Germany observatory is located in Munich adjacent to a river that connects to the Meuse River.

It was from this point that I began to put more pieces together which has ultimately led me to believe that in May and June of 2022, 73P/Schwassmann-Wachmann 3 will strike the planet.

I’ll leave you with a screen shot from the Starry Night program.  Note the date in the upper lefthand corner in the program.  Whatcha think?
